edit: oh hey it worked! thank crap. I decided to try recording my process because that’s something my windows computer can do but my mac cant! Turns out - NEITHER of them can edit video because all of their programs are bunk! Oh, and any random zoom out’s and the sudden blip of my Riju commission are due to me not knowing windows keyboard shortcuts - the Riju pic’s currently my background image :B anyway. Hope ya’ll enjoy!
I wouldn’t normally use this place as a personal life blog but this effects my ability to arts~
So I mentioned my old bucket of a computer in previous posts - a nearly decade old iMac still running OSX 10.6 (what’s the current version? 10.12? higher?). Whelp. I think it’s officially kicking itself. Kicking the bucket, that is.
When I was exporting that last commission piece it died. And now today it’s died on me twice. I think it’s had it~ Real mood killer.
THE GOOD NEWS (and I guess this post answers a few asks I’ve gotten and haven’t gotten around to~) is that I do actually have a much newer computer - a Windows 10 machine I built a few years back. It’s a hell of a lot more powerful, still actually gets updates, I could upgrade my Manga Studio to Clip Paint Studio and get all of it’s new features… OH GOOD IT DIED A THIRD TIME AS IM TYPING THIS ON MY WINDOWS COMPUTER GREAT WOOO…
But I just really like OSX 10.6 (newer OSX’s not so much, but I LOVE 10.6) and Windows 10 isn’t too great and good lord have you ever tried moving files between Mac and Windows even WITHOUT one of them dying constantly? Guh.
This is the real life version of when my Xbox Skyrim save bugged out and my house I was keeping ALL MY SHIT IN started freezing the system and I had to boot up the game, grab some stuff, save, walk a few feet, save, repeat until it crashed, reboot the system, and repeat and repeat until I finally salvaged everything of worth….
So yeah… I mean I can still draw using my windows computer but with all my files on the other one and this just putting me in a rotten mood I’ll have to get back to ya’ll on the yucks and such.
